Tell me what "nature" you are...and I'll tell you your "Sailing Boat Holiday"!

If you choose to take a sailing holiday or even just a weekend, it means that you love the dynamism and coexistence with other people and their inevitable lifestyles. We tend to be collaborative, improvisation is not a drama but above all we love the sea, nature and simplicity that this style of holiday is able to offer. Obviously you can choose according to your tastes. So from the most refined and exclusive, where service comes first, to those a little more wild, even in perfect nautical camping" style , where the art of knowing how to adapt and make do is not to be underestimated. So in order not to be disappointed, you need to have clear ideas and above all know what you don't want. So, what is your lifestyle, what nature best represents you?

Romantics

You are looking for poetry, relaxation, exclusive service, even if you do a little sport, but only when you feel like it. You don't want to be invaded in your personal moments and you are looking for someone who gives you security on board, who knows how to listen to you without opposing you too much, thus offering you the serenity that you need and that deep down you are used to having in everyday life. Therefore, do not choose flotillas of multiple boats.

Select boats that are larger or smaller depending on your availability but which have an on-board assistance service, such as a trained hostess, cook and skipper who knows the areas in which they sail very well.

Dynamic

If there is no movement and dynamism you will get bored. You want to be at the center of life and enjoy it in every way. In order to get moving, are you also willing to weigh anchor by hand or help others who have run aground? If there is wind, even just a breath, you can't wait to open the sails. In the morning you wake up and have a nice swim. On land you like to visit places in search of something particular. You are company and you like to party but without giving up the first hours of light.

So choose from the offers proposed by sporting sailing groups, sailing enthusiasts and those who travel with a few boats, maximum 3, who do not disdain fun but not aggressive disco parties. Let's drink a couple of beers, let's make some noise but on a beach or on a boat at the limit. And then, the guitar and good books must never be missing!

Vitaioli

The more the merrier. In your bag you always have a wireless speaker and a super updated Spotify playlist. If there is no music on board and a spritz within reach, make sure it isn't missing, like ice. If there is no generator that creates it, at every opportunity you look for it on the ground. You love sailing because it's a group thing but also sunbathing, sleeping with headphones and packs with lots of boats. Sunset is romantic but also the best time of day to start a party and attract the attention of as many people as possible who you always love to have around you. A kiss is not denied to anyone and the passion of a hug on the bow (but also something more) is something that excites and motivates you.

Make sure there is a young crew on board but not too young. Choose holidays with lots of boats, with well-organised themed evenings, which have stops on land, a stroll around the places where you drink and have fun until late at night and which in the morning don't necessarily make you feel like shit if you wake up in navigation or even already at your destination, in a new anchorage.

Savages

Whether you have sailing experience or not, you couldn't care less. You are a traveler. Fill your bag with just enough to have two rags on you, something technical for the adverse weather and off you go, to a dock of one of your destinations that you have planned to visit. Look for boarding here and set sail towards a new life experience. You don't worry about who you will have on board, if you don't speak the same language or where exactly you will go because you are interested in the journey and the experience. You actively participate in life on board and if you have to work hard it's absolutely not a problem, on the contrary.

So look for owners/skippers with their own boats, those who perhaps publish their stops on their website or on their social profiles. Ask the right questions about their program anyway, even if you don't care that much.

Did you recognize yourself in any of these profiles?

For each of them there is obviously an offer, you just need to know how to find it and choose. You can therefore find already created packages and already made programs, or you can choose to organize it yourself, looking for travel companions, the boat and the skipper. Never give up on exploring further by asking all the questions that can remove any doubts.
